Oldie but a goodie

This is an old craft that (probably) many of us have made when we were younger. Even though it’s nothing new, I still want to post it as a good fall activity …

Peanut butter pine cone bird feeder

What you need:

  • pine cone
  • peanut butter
  • bird seed
  • wire, string, yarn

What you do:

  1. Use a butter knife to spread peanut butter all over the pine cone. (Fingers work just as well, too!)
  2. Roll and press the pine cone in a bowl of bird seed.
  3. Attach the string to the top of the pine cone and hang it out in a tree (preferably near a window) and watch the birds eat!

One of the good parts about this is that you can even use the same pine cone to reproduce the craft again.

Big thanks to Therapy Fun Zone for the reminder!
